Brief Description :
This device is used to periodically, continuously measure, log (record) & display the rail track temperature, and also make it available on a storage device like external memory (USB Storage pen drive/ flash drive) so that it can be viewed, analyzed, on PC and or Laptop and even be printed if required. An internal non removeable non-volatile memory ( redundant memory ) serves as a backup memory in case the external memory data is deleted by mistake or is corrupted. It holds exact copy of the entire data that has been written to the external memory.
This data is useful to the Railways Officials for observing, recording & studying the minimum & maximum temperature that a railway track is subjected to due to varying atmospheric, seasonal & climatic changes. The system is rugged and uses components and raw material of reputed make. The System is compact, shock, vibration, dust & water resistant ( Outdoor Unit) . Its designed with non-corrosive material and some parts are coated with a special acrylic epoxy insulating coating / antirust coating for protection against corrosion. The system consists of 3 Units.
